Good morning folks! How was your weekend?

I'm going to start off with Monday's post with an artist whom I have admired for a very long time. Illustrator and artist extraordinaire Rob Ryan's paper cut artwork always amazes me. There's something so wonderful and magical about his work. I love the sentimental quotes; they're so lyrical and touching to read, like conversations between two lovers.

I'm going to end this weeks post with one of my favourite artist: cute ceramics from London based artist and ceramicist Charlotte Mei. Her work is so fun and playful-especially the toast plate!

Have a lovely weekend folks.

I love typography although it's the one thing I find extremely difficult with when it comes to applying it to my own work! I would love to design my own type set but I'm not so great at it.

I recommend checking out these websites for inspiration (some aren't all about typography):

Illustration Mundo
Letter Playground
Typography Served (this is a very good website because it showcases artists portfolio).
Rifle Paper Co. (simply because the use of type and illustration go together so well).

Isn't there just something so magical about Nick Mann's paintings? (Aka Doodles on Flickr by the way.)

It's like looking into the distant future and somehow the human race is reborn again. And we're surrounded by mythological creatures and connected to the stars, the earth and nature.

My current reading book at the moment is American God's by Neil Gaiman.  Bloody brilliant book.

A biiiig hello guys. This is my new blog, a daily fix of design, music, photography, fashion and other inspirations :) I've decided to keep this separate from my other blog (erm dunno about it yet?? Go here) Please feel free to email me with any other news and I'll post it up. Also I wanted to test Blogger to see how good it is as I've been using Wordpress for sometime now.

Let's see how this goes. Oh and pass it on!
